We specialize in providing comprehensive and professional repair and regeneration of Torcue converters for all types of automatic transmission cars. We have a new and professional regeneration line produced by Kinergo. We dispose of the two burners welding machine, which allows to maximize the accuracy of bonding of the halves of the converter. We have a device for axial clearance testing, leak testing, setting the preload lock- up in modern converters and the balancer.

The hydrodynamic couplings which we refurbish, are distinguished by high quality. Experience in working with the converters gives the opportunity of efficient verification of the fault, and the modern machinery – the regeneration. Each of the stages of regeneration is performed in a specialized device which is designed for such tasks. Therefore, for the  regenerated hydrodynamic couplings we even provide 36 months of unlimited warranty without mileage. When the regeneration is complete, we carry out numerous tests on specialized devices. If the coupling does not pass even one of them, it is not sent to the customer.


Process of Torcue converter regeneration

  1.        Diagnosis:

1.1   Verification of the numbers and type of torque converter

1.2   Choice and verification of spare parts

1.3   Evaluation of technical condition of the converter on the basis of sensory evaluation

1.4   Verification of external damage - assessment of scratches, deformation, cracks, deformations of the housing.

1.5   Checking of axial clearance of internal components.

1.6   Checking beating of cervical pert of the torque converter.

1.7   Checking of balance of the converter.

1.8   Checking of the tightness and accuracy of Lock-up system operation.

1.9   Washing of the torque converter

These activities are intended to verify the actual technical condition of the fluid coupling. They allow you to detect potential unconventional difficulties before slitting the converter.

  1.        Cutting of the converter and the preliminary assessment of the technical condition of its internal components.
  2.        Washing - after cutting the enclosure, deletes all internal components and placed in a specialized pressure washer. Cleaning agent heated to a high temperature and high pressure to allow thorough cleaning of the residual lining or the metal particles.
  3.        Verification of components - after thorough cleaning, the specialist attempts to assess their condition. All the used elements are changed for the new. They use only parts of the highest quality, produced by the world renowned manufacturers such as: Sonnax, TriComponen.
  4.        Mechanical treatment of the converter elements on conventional and digital machines.
  5.        Welding of the friction discs - depending on the design and intended use of the specially selected friction linings (tan, kevlar, carbon, high carbon, carbon fiber, power torque, tri carbon)
  6.        Installation of the components, setting of the internal clearances.
  7.        Welding - setting the coupling on the two burners welding machine, setting the axial clearance, welding 4 points, check of beating of the cervical part, welding the halvesof the converter, following re-check of the cervical part.
  8.        Checking of axial clearance of the internal components after the welding process.
  9.    Leakage test – the converter with the hypertension of 7 bar produced in the middle of  it, is submerged in water. This allows to confirm the high quality of the weld and seal the converter.
  10.    Dynamic balancing – gives the opportunity of the assessment of balance and possible check of weighing of the converter. An improperly balanced converter can cause significant vibration of the engine and the vehicle.



Due to the high quality of our services we give even 18-year-month written warranty regardless of the number of kilometers driven. It shall be sent together with the converter.

Symptoms of damage

The most common symptoms of hydrodynamic coupling damage are damages to the lining of Lock-Up rubber, seal failure, elastic elements, cushioning and damping damage, as well as damage to the bearings and the resistance treadmills. Depending on the gearbox, it can manifest by tugging, surge of turnover, lack of fluency of gear shif,t surge of rotation of the engine while driving in top gear, delayed shifting (dragging) or vibrations occurring over a range of vehicle speed and rotation of the engine. There can also be felt: slippage, strange sounds coming from the area of the transmission and a noticeable increase of combustion.
